About these terms

These terms explain who you are buying from and the conditions that apply when you use this website, buy a vehicle, or order merchandise, parts or accessories.
Who you are dealing with
Vehicles
All trucks and other vehicles advertised on this website are offered and sold by Joseph Sutton Motor Company Limited (company number 10161349), whose registered office is 5 West Court, Enterprise Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6JD. Its vehicle trading address is 88–90 Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6HD.
Merchandise, parts and accessories
Merchandise, clothing, parts and accessories are offered and sold by Kei Trucks UK Ltd (company number 15331281), whose registered office is 5 West Court, Enterprise Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 6JD.
“We”, “us” and “our” mean the relevant seller for the product you buy. Your order confirmation and invoice will identify that seller.
Website information
We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, specifications, images, mileage, availability and prices accurate. They may be updated, and photographs can be illustrative. Please confirm anything that is important to your decision before committing to a purchase. Nothing on this website is intended to replace an inspection, test drive or independent professional advice.
Vehicle sales
Seller and contract
Any vehicle contract is between you and Joseph Sutton Motor Company Limited. A website listing or enquiry does not by itself create a contract. A contract is formed only when the seller accepts your order or deposit and confirms the sale.
Imported and used vehicles
Kei trucks are often used vehicles imported from Japan. Age-related wear, minor marks, previous repairs and differences from UK-market vehicles can be expected. Known material information will be disclosed so far as reasonably available. Mileage may be shown in kilometres, miles, or as a converted figure; the advert will state the basis used where known.
Prices and VAT
Vehicle adverts will state whether the displayed price includes VAT or whether VAT is payable in addition. Please check the advert and sales invoice carefully. Any road tax, registration, delivery, finance charge, warranty upgrade or optional preparation cost will be identified before purchase where applicable.
Deposits and reservations
A deposit may be required to reserve a vehicle. The amount, reservation period and refund position will be agreed before payment and confirmed in writing. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, a vehicle remains available until a deposit has been received and accepted.
Viewing, inspection and delivery
Customers are encouraged to view and inspect a vehicle before purchase. Any collection or delivery arrangements will be agreed separately. Risk passes when the vehicle is delivered to you or collected by you or your nominated carrier, subject to your statutory rights.
Finance and warranties
Where finance or a third-party warranty is available, separate provider terms will apply. Availability is subject to status and approval. Nothing in these terms affects the legal rights that apply to a vehicle bought from a motor trader.
Merchandise, parts and accessory orders
Orders for merchandise, clothing, parts and accessories are placed with Kei Trucks UK Ltd. An order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced or described, or if we cannot authorise payment. If payment has been taken, it will be refunded.
Prices and payment
Prices will show whether VAT is included. Delivery charges and any other costs will be shown before checkout. Payment must be received through the methods offered at checkout.
Delivery
We deliver to the address accepted at checkout. Estimated dates are not guaranteed, but unless another timeframe is agreed we aim to deliver without undue delay and within 30 days. Please contact us promptly if an order is late, damaged or incomplete.
Cancellation and returns for online goods
If you are a consumer buying merchandise, parts or accessories online, you will usually have 14 days from the day after delivery to tell us that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods. Please contact info@keitrucksuk.co.uk with your order details before returning anything.
Goods must be returned with reasonable care. You are responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or we agree otherwise. We may reduce a refund where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced the item’s value.
We will make any refund due within the period required by law, normally using the original payment method. Standard outbound delivery will be refunded where required; enhanced delivery charges are not refundable beyond the standard delivery amount.
The cancellation right does not normally apply to personalised or made-to-order goods, sealed hygiene-sensitive goods once unsealed, or other statutory exceptions. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their normal purpose. If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly with your order number and photographs where useful. We will provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund required by law. Your statutory rights are not restricted by these terms.
Parts, accessories and installation
You are responsible for checking compatibility with your exact vehicle, including model, chassis code, year and specification, before ordering. Ask us if you are unsure. Unless a product is clearly described as suitable for DIY fitting, we recommend installation by a competent professional. We are not responsible for loss caused by incorrect selection, misuse or improper installation, but this does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Clothing and merchandise
Please check the published size information before ordering. Colours and appearance can vary slightly between screens, production batches and photographs. Personalised items can be returned only where faulty, not as described, or where another legal right applies.
Business customers
If you buy wholly or mainly for business use, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. Consumer cancellation rights do not apply. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a business purchase will not exceed the price paid for the relevant product, and we will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, revenue, business or anticipated savings. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Website use and intellectual property
You may use this website for lawful personal or business enquiries. Website content, branding, photography, video, graphics and written material are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses suffered by a consumer.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will contact affected customers where practical and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when your order or vehicle purchase is agreed will apply to that transaction.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
